There is no excuse for Elder Abuse...

The Elder SAFE (Safety Assurance for Elders) program has been in existence since 2007. It builds community action to the hidden problem of elder abuse in the seven western counties of North Carolina through awareness, prevention and response initiatives.

Elder SAFE is a program of the 30th Judicial District Domestic Violence-Sexual Assault Alliance, Inc. is a nonprofit program that works towards the elimination of violence in the lives of victims and their children in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina.

The Alliance is a regional coalition of seven local domestic violence-sexual assault programs, area agencies and individuals who work collaboratively across communities to respond effectively to reduce domestic violence and sexual assault and prevent its reoccurrence.
